Fiona Dates started with a simple frustration: finding a business you can actually trust shouldn't take twenty open browser tabs, three review sites, and a group chat poll. Search results are cluttered with outdated listings, paid placements dressed up as organic results, and directories that haven't been updated since before smartphones existed.

So we built something simpler. Fiona Dates is a business directory organized the way people actually search — by category, by location, and by what a business actually offers — with every listing submitted directly by the business owner and reviewed by our team before it goes live.

We keep the model deliberately simple. Every registered business gets one listing — no duplicate spam entries, no pay-to-rank tricks that bury better businesses under bigger ad budgets. Categories range from automotive and home services to healthcare, legal, beauty, and dozens more, each with its own dedicated page so the right businesses show up for the right searches.

Every listing on Fiona Dates goes through a manual review before it's published. That means fewer dead links, fewer businesses that closed two years ago, and a search experience built around categories and locations instead of whoever paid the most for placement.

For business owners

Getting listed is free, straightforward, and doesn't require a marketing budget. You submit your details once, our team reviews the submission, and — once approved — your business is discoverable by everyone searching that category. Businesses that want extra visibility can opt into a featured placement, but a free listing is a complete, functional listing on its own.

Our approach to trust

A directory is only as useful as the accuracy of what's in it. That's why every new listing and every edit to an existing listing goes through admin review before it's published — changes don't go live automatically. We'd rather have a smaller, more reliable directory than a large one full of noise.
